^{EN/ For its first participation to Paris Design Week, the textile flooring manufacturer Balsan gave ‘Carte Blanche’ to Marta Bakowski Design Studio, and invited the designer to invest their parisian showroom space. The installation showcased the studio’s design work through a set of five colour islands completed by the company’s samples arranged in color matching compositions.

Chroma, a carpet made of hand embroidered cut-outs was also designed for the occasion.}

^{FR/ A l’occasion de sa première participation à la Paris Design Week, le créateur de sol textiles Balsan a donné Carte Blanche à Marta Bakowski design studio pour investir l’espace de son showroom Parisien. L’installation métait en scène le travail du studio à travers cinq îlots colorés accompagnés de compositions au sol réalisées en dalles textiles assorties.

Chroma, un tapis assemblé d’éléments textiles Balsan et brodés à la main fut aussi imaginé pour l’occasion.}
